The reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town return for the second hottest music event television host summer year when the ABC television broadcasts "CMA Music Festival: Country Rock Night " on Tuesday, 05 August ( 8:00-11 : 00 PM / ET). "CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock" will be executive producer Robert Deaton.
"We could not be more excited to return as hosts for CMA Music Fest," said Little Big Town Phillip Sweet. "Last year was amazing and we cannot wait to be back in the LP Field, surrounded by 50,000 screaming fans!”
His partner Karen Fairchild added, “country music really has the most dedicated fans in the world and we are looking forward to spending four days with them.”

Group acclaimed Sites Little Big Town - comprising members of Fairchild, sweets, Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook - first entered the music scene over 14 years ago with hits like " Boondocks," "Bring It On Home," "Good as Gone, "and the only Grammy-nominated " Little White Church. " fifth studio album of the quartet, Tornado, was released on September 11, 2012 and debuted at the top of the Billboard Country where it remained in position # 1 for five consecutive weeks. The album has been certified platinum with sales of more than 1 million copies.
Tornado, produced by Jay Joyce, includes 2x platinum selling No. 1 single “Pontoon” and individual track and the title track “Tornado”, which also peaked at No. 1 position. The Grammy-nominated track, “her side of the bed “and the fan favorite "Sober”, also shown in the album.
Collectively, the group has won more than 25 award nominations, including 15 CMA Awards nods. They took home the trophy for the CMA Awards CMA Single of the Year (2012, “Pontoon " ) and CMA Vocal Group of the Year (2012, 2013). They have also won a Grammy Award for Best Country Group / Duo Performance (“Pontoon ") and an Emmy (Outstanding original song, " Good afternoon "). Last year, the quartet ended their tour with sold out headlining, “The Tornado Tour “which visited more than 25 theaters in the U.S. and Canada, and recently completed a tour with Keith Urban performed in over 50 cities in North America.
Little Big Town recently completed her sixth studio album working again with producer Joyce. The first single from the new album entitled “Day Drinking " will be available on iTunes June 2 becoming the official country radio on June 10. The album will be released later this year. Filmed during the CMA Music Festival Thursday through Sunday, from 5-8 June, the special characteristics of many of the most exciting stars of today’s country music after falling from stage during the four-day party and music celebration USA. The annual event is unlike any other, with the signing at the new AT & T U -verse X Fan Fair , live music in 11 stages , more than 450 artists and celebrities, and a guest list of 80,000 avid singing and dancing -till- dawn fans .

Several acts of legacy are also made, including The Charlie Daniels Band, Sara Evans, Travis Tritt, and a special guest performance. Perform National Anthem at LP Field will Bradbery Danielle, Home Free and young musicians WO Smith Music School Nashville Community, which is a beneficiary of the Foundation CMA Keep the Music Playing music education charity campaign.
